THE ZOO

It’s the day you’ve been waiting for – a family trip to the zoo! Excited for the adventure, you upgrade your ticket to include a personal meerkat petting experience. Under strict instructions to stay in the enclosure, the zoo keeper leaves you to play with the meerkats whilst he feeds the other animals. Amazed by their playfulness you sprint to get your camera. When you return you notice the rocks where the meerkats were previously standing are completely bare. The stark realisation that you didn’t lock the gate shudders through your body as you see all eight meerkats running away in the distance.
